We want to restore a sense of community to our neighborhood here in Valley Park, that pre-pandemic feeling. Many of us have felt more distant from each other over the past few years... so this block party is our invitation to rekindle those bonds. Whether you've lived here for a week or a decade, we hope you'll come out to catch up with neighbors you haven't seen in a while, and meet some new ones!
Is it really free?
Yes! Thanks to the generosity of our local businesses, we're able to offer free food, free beer, and free activities for all ages.
- TJ's has promised every neighbor a free burger or hotdog, and at least one beer (until the kegs run out)
- Mackenzie Brewing Company will also have a tent offering free pours of their beer
- Valley Park United Methodist Church will be providing snow cones to keep us all cool in the heat
- FEFA Financial is coordinating the overall event, providing tables, seating, fans, porta-potties, and most of the activities (music, bounce house, dunk tank, table tennis, cornhole, cotton candy, etc.)
When you arrive, you'll be able to pick up a ticket for free food and drink, and then enjoy the rest of the party!

What about the heat?
To help with the heat, we’ll have cold drinks, snow cones, shade tents, and large industrial fans blowing air to keep us all cool!
Location & Parking
The block party will be held in the parking lots of 530 Vance Road & 550 Vance Road (the FEFA and TJ's parking lots). We'll have large tents set up, with tables and chairs for seating, so it'll be hard to miss.
For parking, we encourage you to walk over if you are close enough. For those who are driving, there will be parking available at the Liquor Express / Cigar Box parking lot next to TJ's. There is also unofficial parking at the Meramec Valley Dental building, Benchmark Auto, and the police station building next to On The Run. More official details will be available soon, so be sure to check back here for updates.
